How to order Embden Geese:
Embden Geese can be ordered as straight run (unsexed) at any quantity. If you would like to order by gender, please note the following requirements:
You can only order 2 more females than males.
Example #1: When ordering 3 females you must order at least 1 male.
Example #2: When ordering 5 females you must order at least 3 males.
You may order 1 or 2 females only without ordering a male. Or you can order more males than females.

About Embden Geese
The Embden geese are a very common breed for many reasons. They are the largest breed and very hardy. They lay good size and quantities of eggs, will often raise a nest full of goslings and are very pretty in their all-white appearance.
Their feet and beak are orange but their eyes are a distinct blue. Due to their large size and breeding, they are a strong breed. At hatching time you can be quite accurate in sexing the day olds from their coloration as the gray down in the males is lighter than in the females. As adults, however, both sexes are pure white and the only way you can determine the sex is the males are normally larger, more pompous and proud in their carriage and shriller in their voices (as with other goose breeds).

About Your Ship Date:
We will email a ship date to you within 5 days of placing your order. Your hatchlings will arrive 1 to 3 days after that ship date. You should receive a phone call from your local post office upon delivery and we recommend you pick them up immediately upon notification.

Cancellations & Changes
